Paul Gentosi Construction consulting and litigation support including expert witness services are provided for commercial, industrial and residential construction law cases. Consulting services cover the full range of general contracting expertise including, but not limited to:

Construction defects investigations, including site inspections, destructive testing, standard of care analysis and cost estimating
All general building codes, interpretation
Contracts / breach of contract issues and claims
Delay claims, including scheduling and cost analysis
Water intrusion investigations
Developing repair recommendations and solutions

Paul Gentosi started his construction career on a part-time basis in 1967 working as a Carpenter while attending college. In 1972, after graduation, he began his full-time work when he joined the Company continuing in the same capacity of Journeyman Carpenter, working on a wide range of product types. Paul attributes his initial ten years of hands-on experience for giving him the unique understanding of construction means and methods that is so important in his current role. During those years, his responsibilities grew as he assumed the duties of Superintendent, Estimator, Project Manager, Operations Manager and Executive Vice President. Each of these functions provided hands-on experience allowing him the ability to lead people whose jobs he truly understands.

In 1986, Paul then became President of the family-owned Company, which was founded in the late 1940's. By 1997 and with Paul at the helm, the Company's average project size had grown tremendously and Gentosi Builders had penetrated a larger and more complex market. See a partial listing of Construction Projects. Paul is a 1972 graduate of California State University at Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management. He has subsequently completed many courses in numerous types of Executive Development over the years. He speaks English and Spanish.
